Periactil Gel and Precondition carry xylitol in a proprietary and special manner, allowing it to adhere to teeth and gums. This is the most advanced method for delivery and utilization of xylitol as a tooth and gum protective agent and offers far more protection than xylitol toothpastes or chewing gums.
Xylitol is explained in an excerpt from and according to the California Dental Association, "Xylitol inhibits the growth of the bacteria that cause cavities. It does this because these bacteria (Streptococcus mutans) cannot utilize xylitol to grow. Over time with xylitol use, the quality of the bacteria in the mouth changes and fewer and fewer decay-causing bacteria survive on tooth surfaces. Less plaque forms and the level of acids attacking the tooth surface is lowered. Regular use of xylitol by mothers has been demonstrated to significantly reduce this bacterial transmission, resulting in fewer cavities for the child."
Adults benefit as well as children from our proprietary buffer in combination with xylitol. After normal brushing with toothpaste, brush on the Periactil Precondition Gel for strong anti-bacterial action, leaving the mouth extremely clean. Then put a dab of Periactil Gel on your tongue and spread it around in your mouth. The xylitol from both products stays on the oral surfaces for long lasting protection against decay and disease. Small cavities are inhibited from growing. The formation of new cavities is dramatically reduced. Gum disease is reversed and prevented. Gums are strengthened.
Following dental treatments, mouth injuries or oral surgery, use Periactil Gel to relieve pain, reduce swelling and promote rapid healing. Periactil Gel is also excellent for mouth sores.

Instructions:

Brush your teeth and floss as normal

Squeeze a small amount (corn kernel size) of Periactil Precondition on your toothbrush, brush as normal and rinse

Squeeze a small amount of Periactil Gel on your toothbrush, tongue or finger

Spread the gel around in your mouth with your toothbrush, tongue or finger

Rub it on your tongue, gums and teeth

Repeat as needed

Do not use mouth wash after Periactil treatment as mouth wash will minimize the positive effects of the kit

Repeat procedure at least twice a day

No negative impact on tooth enamel
