Extensive research on our products has been aided by the University of San Jose, The University of Latin America, Department of Technology, Faculty of Orthodontics, Costa Rica and the San Jose Hospital, all highly respected entities.

Polimeros y Servicios and medACTIL have come together to bring this amazing group of products to you and to the world. The technical staff of Polimeros y Servicios includes a medical doctor and medical director of scientific and medical research since 1995. He has lead the effort in conceiving the principles and designing pharmaceutical prototypes that have reached the stage of pre-clinical and clinical verification for a whole family of products to be launched to market.

The knowledgeable staff of medACTIL has over 30 years of marketing, sales, business management and technical support experience and has worked closely with Polimeros y Servicios since its inception.

All of the Actil family of products presented by medACTIL are based on a new, safe and effective biogenic technology. A proprietary, non-toxic buffering agent (molecule) developed by Polímeros y Servicios, S.A. of Costa Rica has been combined with certain GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe by the FDA) ingredients to deliver beneficial and safe treatment for many medical issues. The proprietary buffer actually works with your body on a cellular level. The HISTORY of Our Product Development

Over fifteen years ago, an unique molecule suspended in a simple base was delivered to the chief physician of what is now Polimeros y Servicios for evaluation. He found that it did indeed have the amazing properties of accelerating healing, fighting infection and reducing pain.

He spent several years developing specific formulas to deliver these properties to various parts of the body for unique functions, such as formulas for:

During this period, the doctor discovered that this unique molecular structure could be formulated in many ways, yielding safe, highly effective products that were affordable for the general public. Polimeros y Servicios now has such reformulations patent pending in the USA and the countries covered by the Patent Cooperation Treaty.

The molecule or proprietary buffer, in several formulations, has been available as an over-the-counter product in Costa Rica or more than five years. During this period, all formulations have been shown to be completely safe, non-toxic and free from harmful side effects, in fact, positive side effects are often noted. The inactive ingredients in all formulations are considered GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe) by the FDA.

The science is a breakthrough in Biogenics using polyelectrolytes

Because of the extensive bio-pharmacological research, the workings of this unique, naturally occuring molecule has been explored and is now understood. This research has been key to developing the formulas that allow the molecule's properties to be delivered to and used by the cells in the body. This naturally occuring molecule corrects imbalances and diseased cells on the cellular level by stimulating the body to naturally produce hormones, antigens and chemical reactions that promote healing inside the cell. This molecule, also, creates a healthy environment that aids and increases healthy cellular growth and cell reproduction.

Polyactil was the first of the Actil group to be developed. Petroactil was right on its heels. The accidental find regarding lung disease clued the staff in on the fact that the molecule could penetrate deep into the human body, completely changing the former belief that the molecule only acted "skin deep".

Once this was known, a whole new horizon was opened. And based on the known links between periodontal disease and many other illnesses, the staff immediately and successfully sought a cure for gum disease, which had the byproduct of reducing cavities. With the addition of xylitol, not only can Periactil and Periactil Procndition Kit stop gum disease, we can now start to re-calcify the tooth.

An easy, non-toxic and safe treatment for nail fungus and yeast infections was soon discovered.

Most recently, realizing that the formulas worked deep into tissue, the staff developed a "hand cream", actually a restorative emollient, that would work from the body surface down to the bones to relieve joint pain, while simultaneously restoring beneficial fat around the arteries and in the skin tissue to impact health and beauty with the same simple application.
